The Things She Says
I am so sorry I have not been writing down some of the funny and sweet comments that comes from Hayes' little head the past few years. She's growing so fast and these happy, free and uninhibited thoughts will one day not be shared with us as much. She just makes me SMILE!
I love chairs. I love sitting in chairs, especially with my brother.
I'm making a sugar-free pie. I love sugar-free.
(on the calculator) 84652-Daddy is that how old you are?
I'll babysit for Watson while y'all go on a date to Chick Fil A or McDonald's. (our first choice for sure-haha!)
When I grow up let's meet for lunch every Saturday.
Watson is not setting a good sample (example) for me!
Mommy can you do me a huge favor? Could you get a diaper for Watson in case he poops?! (she's for sure his other mother.)

Around the House
Watson loves watching Starfall on the computer. He loves the sounds and songs and I'm so glad he can finally sit still for a bit to watch. This is how Hayes learned most of her letters. They LOVE to climb up in this desk chair and sit by themselves!
Hayes is forever playing school or tea parties with her babies or us. She is such a planner and loves to play hostess or teacher. I love this girl so much. She is so grown up lately. She says the sweetest things. Nathan and I have just decided we need to start writing everything down cause these days are going fast.
playtime in Watson's bed (which is falling apart by the way b/c they jump in it like monkeys all the time)

Watson's favorite things to snag and run are my sunglasses, phone, or remote. He's a sneaky little one.
Little Brother needs his own set of rainboots and umbrella. We catch him trying to wear Hayes' pink hello kitty boots. They love playing in the rain and muddy puddles (like peppa pig!)
Daddy's shoes...
Brother boy in the baby swing and just a tad too heavy for it
and a cute pumpkin idea for the fall
And that's about it! Hayes has been sick all weekend so we've had a low-key weekend at home mixed in with outside time. I'm hoping she starts feeling better by this morning or at least by tomorrow. This weather is awesome. I'm so thankful for fall coming. And I'm thankful for my family and home and food and medicine when little people are sick and our pediatrician and publix being close by. Couldn't live without that place. Have a great Sunday, friends!

Ballerina Girl
Ballet started back this past week. It's a new class but a few of the same little girls from last year are in there. I am excited for a new year of dance for her. I think she will actually know what is going on this year, as opposed to last year-she wasn't sure about ballet until the very end in May when they had their recital and then she loved it. She's been ready to go back ever since!

Little Bit of Lately
Watson does not mind smiling for the camera...
But does not like sister stealing his spotlight...
She's a good sport!
Superman ice cream from edgewood creamery
Little brother had 2 major meltdowns in about 4 minutes b/c he knows how to eat it all by himself, no help needed for this one.... hahaha!
On Tuesday we met friends at the zoo and the weather was awesome...
And bubble blowing outside-one of their favorite activities but not mine!
And then little W decided he needed to turn his bottle of bubbles up and drink it ALL! I know it must have tasted like windex. Somehow he did not get sick. I guess it's one of the perks of being a good eater-he'll try anything!
New toy from W's birthday that I just now pulled out. They were so excited, but of course no one wanted to share!
I might need to change the title of this post to "watson is a handful!" Such a sweet and wild and silly little boy, and he and his sister do a great job of keeping me on my toes with their minute by minute antics. Life feels full and hectic and crazy, but in such a good way. Even though I feel like I am rapidly losing brain cells keeping up with and mothering these 2, I am so thankful to be in this stage of life. It's so hard but so rewarding and I love it. Happy Thursday, friends!
