Happy Six Months!

It truly seems like Hayes was just born, and now she is already 6 months old! At six months she loves to laugh and giggle, read books, take walks in her stroller, play in her exersaucer and jumper, take naps, swing and rock on the front porch, play peek a boo, and lately just LOVES to be held and not put down! She also is trying to figure out the sippy cup and is into eating all kinds of baby foods (right now apples, squash, carrots, bananas, and tonight is peaches!) We just fall more and more in love with this sweet child every day. Happy 6 months, Hayes! We will be planning your 1st birthday party before we know it!

So fun that you found me, Amy. I love your blog...it's wonderful watching these babies grow up! Hayes is beautiful and so happy. She is looking more like you as she gets older too.

Hi Amy,
I was so thrilled to get your message! Glad that you enjoy Gatherings, hope that it is always worthwhile for you to read.

I think this blog thing is so wonderful and all of you young parents have such a great opportunity to document your lives and those of your children as they grow. That is one of the things I am trying to do with my blog, going back and retelling some old things that took place. But, let me tell you...it is easier to write them when they first happen than trying to recall things 20 or 30 years later!

Loved looking at your pics! Hayes is beautiful and I loved the pics of the cousins, too! I have loved teaching all of them and am going to really miss it!

Saw Garry's pic too. He and my husband were such great friends while they were in college. And your Mom and I became quite close as well. I talked with your Mom a few days ago.

Thanks for commenting and letting me into your life. I look forward to reading more about your sweet family. BTW...I have a son who lives in B'ham...my youngest, Ian.
He's single...and looking!

Blessings to you....Tonja
