Yummy Recipe

This is a definite favorite at our house. We had it last week for supper one night and it was super easy and delicious. Serve w/a salad or fruit OR serve it for breakfast w/cheese grits and fruit. I think I'll make it on Sunday for Father's Day for breakfast for Nathan and his Dad!

Ham and Cheese Pie:
1 can crescent rolls
1 1/2 cups chopped ham
8 oz. pkg. shredded cheddar (this is a lot of cheese for one small recipe-but just buy the 2% if it makes you feel better:)
2 tbsp. parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. chopped onion
2 large eggs beaten

Separate rolls into 8 triangles. Fit 4 triangles into a 9 in. pie plate (you will have to flatten rolls to cover the whole plate.) Combine remaining ingredients and pour into pie plate. Cut remaining 4 triangles into thin strips and arrange over mixture lattice style. Bake at 325 for 45 min.-1 hour. We cut it into 4 pieces but then we sometimes eat 2 servings (cause we're big eaters at our house:)
And you could double this if you need to and put it in a 9 x 13 dish although I've never tried it.

Also, this yummy cinnamon friendship bread has been baking up at our house every 10 days. It is one of the "living" breads as my cousin Lee calls it b/c you can never get rid of it! Every time you make the bread (and it makes 2 loaves) you have 4 more starter bags of yeast to give away. We've got a stash of these breads now in the freezer and that is the best place for them b/c we will eat every bite if it is sitting out! So please if you live in this area and want a bag I will be so happy to send one your way. I just made them yesterday so you will not bake until next Friday.
